Colkegan Unsmoked has been a long time in the works. Aged in new and used American oak barrels for over 3 years, this is the whiskey that put Santa Fe Spirits on the map, but without the mesquite-smoked malt.
Warm, light sweetness of warm brown sugar, bubblegum, macadamia nuts, and cinnamon on the nose gives way to a palate of toasted walnuts, wafer cookies, toast, dried pit fruit and light spice.

Finish: Lovely finish, lasting into notes of toasted oak, and butterscotch pudding.
Color: The color brings to mind the coming of fall in the aspens, a deep amber luster as they welcome in the cooler nights of our Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

Colkegan Unsmoked will make its debut at the Read Street Tasting Room on Saturday, October 15th.
Through the end of 2022 Colkegan Unsmoked will be available exclusively for in-person sales at our two tasting rooms. Colkegan Unsmoked will be a limited release of about 1000 bottles.
