Where the Locals Go

The Osteria D’Assisi Ristorante Italiano is named after the town in Italy where Saint Francis, the patron Saint of Santa Fe, was born. The restaurant opened in 1995 with the goal of serving Santa Fe’s only authentic Italian cuisine. Situated downtown in a renovated historic homestead, the Osteria d’Assisi has nurtured a large local following as well as catering to the growing number of tourists who return to dine with us year after year. The Osteria d’Assisi has most recently been honored by Wine Spectator, with the Award of Excellence 2016 for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world. Open Table in 2014, honored us with being the Best Italian Restaurant in New Mexico.
